The Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN) is leading discussions with airline V Australia in an effort to deal with the ongoing issue of musicians being confronted by baggage restrictions and charges when touring.
In late January, AMIN will be meeting as part of a taskforce initiated by V Australia to develop some strategies to address the problem. And in order to guide those discussions, we are compiling a snapshot of how artists use airlines to tour – both domestically and internationally – and the issues faced when touring with instruments and other gear.
Your responses to this brief survey will play a major role in finding a solution to this ongoing problem. We are collecting information on both domestic and international travel, so if you do tour overseas please take the time to fill out both sections where appropriate.
Thanks for taking the time to help AMIN represent you on this critical issue. For more information about AMIN, visit www.amin.org.au.
