We're proposing to NASA in association with a current research grant to create an annual two-week summer workshop to help familiarize science fiction writers with modern astronomical concepts, NASA missions, and some specific day-to-day activities of real-life scientists. While the focus and pitch is on fiction writers, non-fiction writers would also be welcome. In order to support this proposal, we're collecting information from potential attendees. Thank you for participating.
NOTE: It's now January 2007, and the proposal was successful. We're planning to have the first workshop in July 2007 and will be advertising ASAP. Thanks again -- this survey surely helped sell the proposal.
