CITIN’s delivery team is undertaking a process of gathering feedback from key stakeholders across the UK including businesses, membership organisations, regional and sectoral specialists and academics.

We aim to build landscape pictures of the technology and innovation issues in the Creative Industries, validated by opinion formers, to identify priority areas for CITIN's programme in 2009 and beyond.

The online survey is an opportunity for you to put your ideas and knowledge into the mix. Two broad areas are covered, with the opportunity to add additional comments at the end.

To help us shape these themes with your feedback, in your response, we are interested in your opinions of:
a. What the key technological challenges and/or opportunities are in your sector.
b. Whether there are areas of business you believe will change due to the impact of technology.
c. Which other sectors you look to as innovation leaders, are there other sectors we can learn from or connect with?
d. What the cross cutting themes (eg IP, globalisation) are, that will drive innovation?

* 2. CITIN is committed to ensuring the Creative Industries get the right support to develop successful future products, services and business models. In order to understand the extent and value of innovation, collaboration and engagement within the Creative industries, we are interested in;

a. What existing innovation, collaboration and engagement is being undertaken by you / your members? Eg government bodies, Technology Strategy Board funding, Regional Development Agencies (RDA’s), business to business etc.
b. The value of networks / partnerships in your area, with some examples of good practice.
c. How technological innovation / information / resources can be embedded more effectively within the Creative Industries?
d. What impact external factors eg market conditions, consumers, globalisation have on innovation?
