* 1. The theme of the 2009 Kansas East Annual Conference this year is "The Church United: Called to Lead", and is focused on developing principled leaders for the church. The Kansas Area Health and Wellness Committee encourages everyone to include health and wellness as part of those principles. The committee promotes comprehensive health of body, mind, and spirit for individuals, congregations, and the Annual Conferences of Kansas.

How will you, your church, or your organization support health and wellness at Annual Conference 2009?

By participating cheerfully in the body-mind-spirit activities.

By serving as a volunteer-in-mission for the health ministries that mentor and model stewardship of our bodies and the Earth at Annual Conference

By highlighting our health and wellness ministries in the display space we reserved by March 15th.

* 2. The Health and Wellness Committee is charged with collating a listing of all the health ministries that will be offered at annual conference. However, to be included in the registration packet, the information from this survey must be received by May 1, 2009.

I am willing to serve as part of the disaster response network (I am experienced with providing some aspect of this such as assisting with communication, social services, physical service, medical skills, etc.)

I am willing and qualified to provide some coverage for the first aid room.

I am willing to assist with the Bishop's Body-Mind-Spirit Walk.
