The Victorian Recorder Guild is based in Melbourne and provides a network for recorder enthusiasts across the state of Victoria, Australia.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the playing of the recorder, including enthusiastic amateurs, students, teachers and performers. Our annually elected committee coordinates activities including blow-in afternoons, workshops, and residential weekends, and provides public liability insurance for activities organised under its umbrella.
A newsletter is distributed to all members (by email or by post) about eight times a year. Members in Victoria are also entitled to free use of our extensive library of recorder music.
Groups, schools and organisations are encouraged to join the VRG. Please nominate a contact person who will be sent the newsletter and will be entitled to vote at general meetings.
There is also a discount membership for families living at the same address.
Details of the VRG's current activities, and a downloadable catalogue of the library, are available via www.vrg.org.au.
This membership form can be used by both new members and renewing members. In either case, we ask you to send the VRG your membership subscription before you submit the form. Details are provided below.
