Brief statement of purpose of work

The purpose of this study is to explore how people make judgments in social situations when there is little information available. Participants will be asked to read some information about a social interaction between two people, and then respond to a number of questions about what they have read. There are no known risks from participating in this study. However, should you experience any discomfort, you may contact the researcher (Jaysan Charlesford - jaysan.charlesford@plymouth.ac.uk). Participants have the right to withdraw from the study at any time without penalty, and the right to not submit their responses at the end of the study. No data will be collected about you that could identify you. Please note that because data are anonymous your responses cannot be deleted once you have finished the study.
