Everybody gets to play™ is a national trademarked initiative created to increase access to recreation opportunities for low-income families. The Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) is currently seeking input from members regarding Aboriginal engagement strategies that will expand the efforts being completed through the Everybody gets to play initiative. The objectives of this survey are to:
1) Understand the needs and interests of recreation practitioners when involving Aboriginal populations in recreation opportunities.
2) Understand successful strategies to involving Aboriginal populations in recreation opportunities.
Results from this survey will help to build resources (i.e., Aboriginal Supplement to the Everybody gets to play Community Mobilization Tool Kit) for recreation practitioners that will support their efforts to engage Aboriginal populations into recreation opportunities.
