Teenager suffers head injury after being hit by car.
A TEENAGER suffered a life-threatening head injury” when he was hit by a FordGalaxy in St Neots. A witness called 999 at 11.09 am after the 14-year-old was hit in Huntingdon Road on Sunday.
The ambulance service sent a rapid response car and two ambulances to the scene. A critical care paramedic arrived in the rapid response car in just over nine minutes and an ambulance arrived two minutes later. They treated the 14-year-old at the scene before sending him to Addenbrooke’s for further care.
It is understood he is still at Addenbrooke’s in a serious condition but his injuries are no longer thought to be life threatening. Police were called by the ambulance service at 11.10 am on Sunday and officers are investigating the incident.
