The Tucson Cherrybell Postal Processing Facility |
Tucson Community Survey
You may have already heard that the U.S Postal Service plans to close the Tucson mail processing center. This will create several days of delay to the mail in Southern Arizona. You may have already experienced a longer delivery period due to changes as of January 2015.
The City of Tucson and stakeholders in the community want to help inform the decisions of leaders at the U.S. Postal Service and in Congress on the direct impact these delays have on the Tucson community. To help demonstrate why keeping the Tucson Postal Processing Center open is so critical we have built the attached survey. Please take a minute to fill it out - we will be compiling results and will pull out selected anecdotes and examples that can help these decision-makers better understand why it is so important to keep the center open. In some cases, we will contact you to see if you would be willing to share your stories directly with our Congressional delegation.
This will take only a moment - yet could have a long lasting effect on the Southern Arizona community.
