Access Living, CSH, Chicago Area Fair Housing Alliance, and Chicago Lawyers’ Committee are excited to host a FREE, one-day training focusing on Fair Housing requirements and regulations that spell out the obligations of jurisdictions, housing developments, and housing counselors throughout the State of Illinois. Training participants will also gain working knowledge of fair housing for persons with disabilities, the Olmsted federal guide, cultural competency, language access, and the importance of connecting residents to areas of opportunity. The training session will also include breakout sessions for staff that are focused on rental housing and home ownership to discuss specific implementation strategies. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
