CEMEX Redwoods Forest Public Access Plan - Questionnaire
Thank you for taking this brief survey to help us plan public access on the CEMEX Redwoods Forest. The 8,500-acre property has been protected by a partnership of the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County, Peninsula Open Space Trust, Save the Redwoods League, and Sempervirens Fund.
Our goal is to protect wildlife habitat, water resources, and biodiversity, while allowing sustainable timber harvests and low-impact recreation, research, and education. We do NOT foresee any of the following uses: off-road vehicles or motorized dirt biking, car camping, hunting, fishing, rock climbing, or camp fires.
Your answers to the following questions will help us plan for public access. The Land Trust and its partners will also seek input at two community meetings (dates to be announced).
Results of the survey will be posted on www.landtrustsantacruz.org. Survey participants will not be identified on the website nor will “private comments” be posted.
