The 2014 AAEEBL Annual Conference -- Engaged Learning and ePortfolios: Advancing Learning-Centered Cultures in a Multimodal Age -- is about engaged learning, the heightened learning experiences using high-impact educational practices and eportfolios and other learning-centered approaches.

Each proposal should tie in not only to the tracks the Program Committee developed based on the engaged learning theme, but should also explain a significant and concrete change that occurred using eportfolios.

We invite proposals for 20-minute snapshot sessions, poster sessions, Ignite sessions (brief but captivating presentation with timed slides), and 50-minute sessions. You may submit more than one proposal.

Deadline for proposals is February 24, 2013. You will be notified by March 24. Registration for the Conference opens in late March. Lodging options will be available at that time, also.

All session leaders and presenters must register to attend the conference.

Note: In order to maintain some stylistic consistency when using the word "eportfolio," we ask proposers to use "ePortfolio" at the beginning of a sentence or in a title, and to use "eportfolio" when the word appears as part of a sentence. AAEEBL does not purport to have the "right answer" to the question about how to include the word in text, but we endeavor to be as consistent in our program as possible, and therefore ask you to help. We recognize that there are alternative approaches to textualizing "eportfolio."
