We are hoping to share existing promising partnership practices from Colorado classrooms, schools, and districts during the upcoming Promising Practices trainings. Promising practices are defined as “strategic family-school-community partnering actions or programs that are effective for a specific site or situation in supporting student success and hold promise for other sites.”

A detailed description of the Definitions, Goals and Indicators of the National Standards, go to: http://www.cde.state.co.us/sites/default/files/SACPIE_NationalStandardsGoalsIndicators_Family-SchoolPartnerships.pdf. These standards were developed from research and are intended to guide families and educators as they work together in supporting student achievement.

After you submit a practice, we may contact you to learn more before about your work and ask how you might want to share with others. Please be as specific as possible about the practices so we have enough information to share with participants.

Thank you!
