Greetings!

VBSR's 27th Annual Spring Conference is upon us! What will it take for Vermont companies to be the most forward-thinking and outstanding socially responsible (SR) business leaders? How are you handling the challenges and opportunities associated with developing socially responsible businesses and organizations? What lessons have you learned that you are willing to share in your pursuit of creating organizations that value people, profit and planet? What would you like to learn at this unique gathering of socially responsible business leaders?

Please help us give Vermont businesses a great opportunity for learning, engagement and inspiration! We welcome your ideas to ensure that VBSR’s 27th Annual Spring Conference is interesting, informative and engaging for all participants...not to mention fun!

Generally workshops are 75 minutes long but we are open to increasing or decreasing the amount of time to best suit the content and format. We welcome any relevant content and are excited about and open to new, interesting, and/or different format suggestions. All ideas will be considered, but because of competitiveness and time constraints, the more developed and detailed proposals will be given some preference. Most importantly, we are interested in proposals that will actively engage session participants to answer questions, problem-solve, and engage in thought-provoking discussion!

This year, our Program Committee has offered a few topic suggestions: SR 101, the changing times (e.g., the next workforce, the changing nature of for-profit/nonprofit definitions, Baby Boomers working with Millennials, or the future with/of AI, etc.), solopreneur challenges, or making websites/documents accessible to those who are hearing-impaired or visually-impaired. But please feel free to propose other ideas -- all are appreciated.

Please help us make this conference the best ever and submit your proposal by 5:00 p.m., January 12th. (And save the date -- the conference will be May 17th!)
