Harvard School of Public Health LAMPS Mini-Grant Application
The Harvard School of Public Health ‘LAMPS’ center is an innovative center that uses an integrated approach to create validated criteria and metrics for PHEP (public health emergency preparedness).
This Mini-Grant opportunity aims to build the capacity of public health and hospitals to prepare for and respond to a diverse range of emergencies. We have developed a unique disaster exercise evaluation instrument – an online tool that provides easy to use evaluation forms and reports.
Mini-grants are non-sponsored awards, paid through institutional funds, and will range from $2,000 to $4,000 per grant. Up to 20 mini-grants will be awarded for this project.
Participants will agree to: (a) Use the tool in one of your disaster exercises conducted between January 2014 and June 2014 and (b) provide feedback on the usability of the tool in a follow-up phone interview.
Hospitals, state or local public health agencies are encouraged to participate. We may contact you for additional information, and grant decisions will be made by Dec. 31, 2013. You will be notified via the email address that you supply on the next page.
