Factors People Consider when Obtaining a New Cat or Dog

This research project is being conducted by Avia Rauscher for her Master's thesis at Hunter College. Because you have obtained a cat or dog within the last 60 days, your experiences and decisions regarding the circumstances in which you obtained your new pet are valuable to this research. Your help is needed and appreciated. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Submitting or discontinuing the survey at any time is up to you. Your responses are confidential and will not be associated with you as an individual. All data is transmitted using SSL technology and stored on secure servers by SurveyMonkey. Your personal details will not be provided to the researchers and there are no foreseeable risks to you in this study. It is estimated that approximately 100 respondents will participate in this survey study.
