Nurse Staffing in WV's Acute Care Facilities - 2022 Followup

In January 2020, WV nurses completed a WVNA survey regarding acute care staffing. Nearly 500 surveys were completed. Summarized findings using de-identified data from that survey will be shared in coming weeks by the WVNA.

We are requesting your participation in this abbreviated follow-up survey to better understand your current workload. If you are providing direct patient care in an acute care hospital in WV as a bedside nurse we are interested in your workplace environment specifically regarding staffing in the context of the crisis resulting from the COVID pandemic.

This survey is voluntary and you do not have to be a member of WVNA to participate.  The survey should take 7 minutes or less to complete. By completing the survey you are providing consent to participate.  Your answers are anonymous and we can not track respondents. No data identifying specific facilities will be shared in the public domain. Any dissemination that may occur would be with compiled data using descriptive statistics and no facilities will be identifiable. There is no stipend or other compensation provided for survey completion. We are requesting your participation to assist us in better understanding how the challenges of the past 2 years have impacted WV nurses and the patients cared for in acute care facilities.

For any questions regarding this survey, please email centraloffice@wvnurses.org.
