Responses will be reviewed by The Survivors Trust team on a regular basis to help measure the use and impact of our resources website. Trends in data will be published and shared with appropriate government agencies as part of the review process.

Terminology
Terminology such as sexual abuse, sexual violence, sexual assault have been used to define all types of non-consensual acts of physical contact of a sexual nature and is used interchangeably throughout this website. Rape and childhood sexual abuse (CSA) have been used where it has been deemed appropriate to distinguish these. The term victim and survivor are used interchangeably to describe to anyone who has experienced sexual violence and is accepted that these terms are not preferred for everyone.

We understand that some people experience sexual violence by different perpetrators over different periods. If this applies to you please use select the options that relate to the time which you feel had the most impact on you.
