Expanding team-based primary care is a key part of the Ontario government’s plan to fulfill its election promise to connect all Ontarians to primary care close to home.

In April, the Ontario government launched a call for proposals to create and expand 80 interprofessional primary care teams, with the next call scheduled for September. OCFP is committed to ensuring that family physicians, agnostic of model, can participate in team-based care expansion efforts. And importantly, that those teams are efficient and designed to help you in your practice.
