Building Community

Last year the Diversity Committee launched #celebrate_community as a way to encourage of us to make time to get to know each other better. This year we'd like to hear from you about what you'd like to see. Interested in a reading group? An affinity group? Something else? Do you know of an initiative that is already ongoing that we could signal boost - or with which we could collaborate? Let's find ways to be together even as we are apart.

Question Title

* 1. [optional] We encourage you to share your name and contact information - particularly if you'd like to talk more, or help out!

Question Title

* 2. Are you aware of any similar efforts at the iSchool, or on campus?

Question Title

* 3. Would you be interested in starting, or joining a reading or discussion group? What topics would interest you? Are you already a part of a reading group we could help signal boost?

Question Title

* 4. Would you be interested in joining or starting an affinity group? For example, this past Spring, faculty with children started a support group for parents with children. Feeling burned-out? Perhaps you'd like a chance to talk with other queer iSchool folk. Please let us know if you would be interested in forming a group - and/ or what the grounding for such a group could be.

Question Title

* 5. Anything else you'd like to share? We encourage you to think big!
