Garden River First Nation Housing Department

The GRFN Housing Department is conducting a survey to understand community interest in tiny homes, and whether building tiny homes is a viable option for addressing affordability and sustainability in Garden River. This survey is also an opportunity to better understand the general housing visions of community members.

For the purposes of this survey, a tiny home is defined as being 600 square feet or less and can accommodate up to two (2) adult occupants. Although the main target audience for this survey is single people or couples in GRFN whose housing needs are not currently met, we invite all Garden River members to participate so that the housing department can continue to meet the needs of all of our members.

Miigwetch, thank you for participating in our survey. Surveys will remain confidential and records will be kept at the GRFN Housing Department for a period of two (2) years. The outcomes of this survey will be posted on the Housing Department’s website and will be used to inform a Housing Needs Assessment.

In return for your time, your name will be submitted for a draw to win a gift certificate for: Visa ($500 gift card), Wal-Mart ($200), Best Buy ($100), or Canadian Tire ($50).
