Replenish Restaurant Revitalization Fund

As Vermont restaurants, we are calling on our Congressional Delegation to prioritize the replenishment of the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. Because the need was greater than the funding available, only 366 of the 947 Vermont restaurants that applied for Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) relief were awarded funds. The 39% of applicants funded through the program were provided an essential lifeline that will help them emerge from the worst months of the pandemic. According to SBA data, unfunded applicants continue to suffer from $120.5 million of unmet need related to the pandemic. Restaurants shouldering this massive financial burden are calling on Congress to replenish RRF, as was promised by many state and federal leaders.
