AEIC Member Communications Opportunities
1.
I am interested in having my AEIC member company participate in the following communications activities. Please contact me to discuss our participation.
AEIC monthly Member Spotlight virtual presentation
Showcase your achievements in a Member Spotlight virtual presentation on Microsoft Teams. Held biweekly on Friday at 2:00 pm ET, this platform allows you to share successful projects and insights with fellow AEIC members. You choose the topic and the presenters for your 45-minute presentation. We’ll promote the event to all AEIC member companies and track pre-registered attendance. With your approval, we’ll record your presentation and post the video and slides on the AEIC member portal for continued visibility.
Participating member companies have 1-2 representatives deliver a 45-minute presentation (with slides) on a topic of their choice. We leave 10 minutes at the end for participant Q&A. These sessions are recorded (subject to the approval of the member company) and after the event we post the video and slides to the AEIC member portal.
AEIC’s Grid Mod Pod podcast series
Join The Grid Mod Pod, AEIC’s podcast series, as an interview guest to share your insights. Hosted by Dr. Elizabeth Cook, VP of Technical Strategy, this opportunity allows for a 20-minute interview, scheduled at your convenience. Following the interview, the edited version is posted on AEIC’s YouTube channel and promoted across platforms, enhancing your presence in the grid modernization discourse.
Our communications team will gather information from you about your topic, schedule you for recording day/time, and help you prep for the interview with Elizabeth. Each interview lasts approximately 20 minutes or so. After the interview, we post an edited version on
AEIC’s Youtube channel
and promote the episode on
AEIC’s website
, member portal, and social media.
Submit an article for publication under AEIC’s monthly column in Public Utilities Fortnightly
Each month, AEIC publishes an article in
Public Utilities Fortnightly magazine
(PUF). These articles cover a range of operational topics and industry issues. These articles must be approximately 750-1200 words of original, previously unpublished content and are due for submission one month prior to the publication date (e.g. – Nov 1 deadline for publication in the December issue).
The article should list the author (2 co-authors is acceptable) and include their name and title. Submitting photos and/or graphics with your article to help tell the story is strongly encouraged. Most AEIC member companies choose to draft their own article and submit it to AEIC for review and acceptance by PUF. For member companies who need assistance, AEIC’s communications team can schedule a virtual meeting to interview your subject matter experts and draft the article for your review and approval. Once the article is published in PUF, we post it on AEIC’s website, member portal, and
social media
.
