Background

Species distribution modelling (SDM) uses climatic and environmental variables to determine where and why a species will be located at a given location at a specific time.

Figure 1 shows a high level SDM process and Figure 2 is the proposed framework whereby data scientists collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) in SDM development.
