Have your say on the 2026 Muswellbrook Races half-day public holiday

Council is seeking community feedback on the 2026 Muswellbrook Mayors Cup Public Holiday. The half-day public holiday, from 12pm-6pm, is proposed for the first Tuesday in November, to coincide with the Muswellbrook Mayors Cup and Big Dance Party.

In 2026 this would mean the half-day public holiday falls on Tuesday, November 3.

The half-day public holiday will support local business and ensure that all of the community can celebrate this special day in the Muswellbrook racing calendar.
