Introduction
The purpose of this annual survey is to gather feedback from BCTA’s motor carrier and motor coach members about current compensation trends. The focus of the survey is on all positions, not just drivers.
This information will be used, in aggregate form to create the 2025 BCTA Compensation Survey Report- a comprehensive look at the past four years of survey data. This report will only be available to carriers that complete the survey as a member benefit until the report becomes public (fall 2025) providing a deep analysis of compensation structures, industry benchmarks, and emerging patterns in the field. Whether you’re assessing salary structures, benefits, or incentives, this report is an invaluable resource for members looking to refine and optimize their compensation strategies.
The information will also be used to inform BCTA’s advocacy efforts to support workforce development and promote careers in the transportation industry, ensuring a sustainable and skilled workforce for the future.
Each company’s information will remain confidential.
The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete with the necessary information on-hand. The questions will request:
- Information on your company such as the size, area and type of operation, annual revenue
- Information on your employees such as average age and the approximate number of employees of each gender
- The number of current employees in different positions in your company
- Compensation levels and benefits provided by your company to different positions
- Compensation levels for owner-operators, if applicable
Kindly note that all information should be based on the most recent completed pay period.
