By registering, I also affirm that I am a Diné language teacher or an aspiring Diné language teacher interested in taking the Navajo Nation – Diné Language and Culture Assessment & understand that by completing this registration, it doesn't ensure I'm selected to test. Final selection & eligibility will be determined by the NISN Diné Language Team following the completion of this form.
Who should apply to be selected? This Diné Language Culture & Assessment Test Day (In-Person) is for Non-520-certified Diné Language Teachers wanting to pass the DLCA to receive their 520 certification in New Mexico. Teachers who've attended our program's test prep training (06/06/26) will have final selection preference.

What?
  • Testing for the Navajo Nation OSCAD-Language & Culture Assessment (DLCA)
  • Will include one day of testing administered by the Navajo Nation Office of Standards, Curriculum, and Assessment Development (OSCAD) team for individuals seeking a 520-certification.
  • On-site support will be available for testers.

Please carefully read the following information below.
  • Interest application is required.
  • Interested individuals are subject to a quick screening and assessment by our program to ensure you are prepared to test in June 2026.
  • Limited Space: The program is only selecting (7) non-520 certification holders.
  • This test is in-person.
  • Snacks, water, breakfast, and lunch will be provided.

Where and when? Selected testers will convene in Albuquerque, NM on Friday, June 13th, 2026 by 8:00 AM.
