Mindful Travel

Research Project - Tourism Industry Insights

Kia ora

I'm Pauline, a Master's student researching how people track and assess the impact of their travel and how better tools could shift traveller behaviour towards more sustainable social, economic and environmental tourism practices.

To gain a comprehensive understanding, I'm gathering insights from tourism operators and industry professionals: what you do, how you evidence it, what travellers respond best to, and what helps or gets in the way.

Your insights will help inform my research into developing a practical assessment framework and prototype tools to provide travellers with information and real-time feedback that support the goal of leaving a place better than when they arrived.

Time: 10-15 minutes • Format: open questions • Focus: real-world industry insights.
