Introduction between Texas Deaf Chamber & You

The purpose of this survey is introduce Texas Deaf Chamber of Commerce as well as get your information and feedback for Texas Deaf Chamber of Commerce in order to carry out its mission and purpose as outlined below:

“The mission of this Chamber shall be to develop, promote and perpetuate a positive and profitable business and civic climate for deaf owned businesses. Sharing information to teach areas including but not limited to capitalism, expanding access to capitalization, technical support, procurement opportunities, and effective networking. The languages, cultures, and heritage of Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Late-Deafened, and Hard of Hearing business owners will be acknowledged and respected in the pursuit of life, liberty and equality.”

A) Serve as a community voice for Deaf-owned businesses

B) Advocate for the creation of a firm economic base supporting Deaf-owned businesses

C) Create financial opportunities for the growth and stability of Deaf-owned businesses

D) Promote development and support of deaf businesses through greater access to market opportunities and capital

E) Foster entrepreneurial development through workshops and trainings

F) Collaborate with coalitions supporting public recognition and political influence among deaf business owners and

G) Monitor pending legislation that may affect business ownership, business growth, and business activities.
