Since the beginning, Ellen McCabe has been an integral part of Girls on the Run of Lancaster.  Her energy, passion, generosity and overall love of life have impacted our staff, volunteers, girls and our community in countless ways.  The Shining Light Ellen Award is given to a coach selected by our GOTR committee each year to recognize their commitment to our GOTR community. Our coaches shine the same light as Ellen and we are asking girls, coaches, families, and any others who see a coach in action to recognize their star power by nominating them for this award. To help the GOTR committee understand the impact of this coach, please provide a thoughtful and detailed response to the question below.

Keeping in line with our mission to give back to the community – together with Ellen, an anonymous donor has generously provided a small gift of recognition along with a $500 donation to be made to the recipient’s nonprofit of choice!
