CUMC has formed a small task force to help spearhead some fresh concepts for the church. The task force seeks to 1) grow membership, 2) continue to offer improved services for church members, and 3) provide fundraising. College students and high school students would be welcome. Would you like to see a career fair brought to CUMC as a fundraiser and a way to promote the church and other volunteer programs for aspiring young professionals?

* 4. NJ's got talent! Please share your thoughts on more performances and receptions within the Rodda Hall and the Sanctuary. Ideas could include talent nights, youth choir, art shows, dinner theater, and more. Please let us know if you would pay a ticket price (CUMC funding) to more of this sort of programming. * 5. CUMC is known for open doors. We are entertaining creating an open doors community club for community activities. We could offer intergenerational cooking, bridge, book club, sports viewing, flower arranging, etc. Many things can be done in Rodda Hall to encourage community. All ages and all people are welcome. There would be a small membership fee that would go to the church for housing the club. Would you or someone you know be interested in such a community club?

* 7. Wellness nights at CUMC. People want a place to restore, recharge and find peace. There is no reason that place shouldn't be the church. We could invite some outside guests to do a mashup of faith and yoga, faith and meditation, faith and healthy cooking, faith and sleep gurus. Wellness nights at CUMC could offer the community a restorative refuge. Would you participate in wellness nights?

* 8. CUMC is considering launching a New Life Second-Hand Boutique to the community where people can donate items, CUMC can price them and sell the items as a church fundraiser. Unsold items would be donated. This would be a bit more focused on quality and higher margin donated items than previous rummage sales the church has held.
