2026 Yfoundations Youth Homelessness Representative Council (YHRC) Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Yfoundations Youth Homelessness Representative Council (YHRC).

We're seeking applications from young people aged 18-24 years, who have lived experience of homelessness or housing instability and an interest in helping other young people and the community.

The YHRC plays an important role in addressing issues that affect young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

The group meets six times per year and is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people who have faced similar challenges, learn new skills, and make your voice heard.

Your opinions and the discussions you will have as part of the YHRC will directly feed into the sector and help to advocate for policy change.

Youth Representatives will receive remuneration for every meeting attended, plus travel costs covered.

To find out more about the YHRC go to www.yfoundations.org.au/yhrc/.

If you have any questions, please contact Sam at Yfoundations on: 0457 448 602 or via email: sam@yfoundations.org.au

If your application is successful, you will be asked to attend a virtual interview.
