This half-day training is designed to support district and building test coordinators in preparing for a successful administration of the Kansas Assessment Program (KAP). Participants will engage in required annual test security training to ensure a clear understanding of ethical testing practices, policies, and procedures necessary to maintain the validity and integrity of state assessments.
The session will also provide key updates related to the Kansas Assessment Program, including timelines, administration procedures, and relevant guidance from KSDE. Coordinators will have the opportunity to review resources, clarify expectations, and discuss implementation strategies to support their schools and staff.
Time will be intentionally built into the agenda for participants to "clean up" Kite accounts, ask questions, and prepare for in-district training.
