Introduction
Thank you for your interest in the Regen Beef Training Course.
The training course will run from 29th September 2025 to 26th June 2026, in line with the academic term. There will be three in person events to regenerative farms, one per term, and the rest of the course will be delivered online. It is expected that no more than 5 hours of online learning time will be required each term. In-person events will be located in England and Wales and will take place on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
The training course is aimed at beef farmers located in the United Kingdom (i.e. people who are actively farming and /or have decision making abilities on a farm producing beef).
This training course is fully funded by McDonald’s UK & Ireland and delivered by FAI Farms, in collaboration with the Harper Adams School of Sustainable Food and Farming.
There are limited places on the training course. By completing this survey you are entering yourself in to the application process. FAI Farms are responsible for the application process and will choose participants based on factors such as: whether the applicant is actively farming/has decision making capabilities on a farm, whether beef from the applicant’s farm is likely to enter the McDonald’s UK & Ireland supply chain, whether the applicant is willing and able to engage in the training and personal data (e.g. age, gender, farming system) – in order to promote a spread of participants and systems within the cohort.
Although we hope that participation in the course will encourage management changes on farm, there are no requirements for participants to change their management practices after course completion.
