Gemini's K-5 Award Ceremony

Gemini provides an end of year K-5 award ceremony and up until two years ago, only students receiving an award would attend.  In the 2016-17 school year, Gemini changed its end of year K-5 award ceremony so that all students could attend and see their friends/peers receive awards.  Students receive more opportunities to attain awards as they progress through the grade levels. Only parents of students receiving an award receive an invitation as space is limited and fire codes must be met. Our awards ceremony is conducted by grade levels K and 1, 2 and 3, and 4 and 5.

Gemini is seeking input on our annual end of year K-5 awards ceremony.  With your feedback, our School Advisory Council and Principal will determine how we proceed with our awards program for Grades K-1, 2-3 and 4-5.  Our 6th graders will continue their end of year awards and graduation ceremony as they have traditionally done in the past.
