ark your calendars to help celebrate OSBA's 74th Annual Convention, November 12-15, 2020, at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel.

Please read the following carefully:

We are seeking informative and interesting workshops primarily targeting school board members and superintendents submitted to OSBA by May 22, 2020.

To be considered for a workshop, presenters must include at least one person from an OSBA-member district or educational partner (e.g. ODE, Education Northwest or other not-for-profit education-related entity).

The convention format features 75-minute workshops. The workshops are held on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 13 & 14) of convention. If selected, your workshop has a 50% chance of being scheduled on Saturday.

To propose a workshop for the 2020 OSBA Annual Convention, complete and submit this survey, which is our workshop proposal form by the deadline of May 22, 2020.

OSBA appreciates all submissions and will notify regarding acceptance the first or second week of June. Please note that if your proposal is accepted, OSBA is unable to pay any travel related expenses for the presenters.

Convention registration is an expectation for all workshop presenters unless this presentation is the only area of participation the presenter(s) has.  Meal participation is in addition to registration.

If you have questions, please contact Renee Sessler, 503-588-2800 or rsessler@osba.org

Thank you. We look forward to receiving your submissions.
