Hennepin County has been working to collect and share best practices and creative ideas to support cities on how to encourage active living and safely maintain business during COVID-19 by developing several COVID-19 toolkits. The newest toolkit includes strategies for winter.
To help active living partners implement strategies introduced in previous these toolkits, Hennepin County Active Living is developing a technical assistance program for 2021. As part of this program, we are considering a couple of options, 1) continuing our existing practice of offering assistance by request or application and/or; 2) hiring several consultants with different skillsets that could provide technical assistance on an hourly basis. to our city partners in implementing winter Active Living strategies.
