The City of Winnipeg is exploring ways to increase available on-street parking in the Exchange District. A pilot project, beginning on Monday, July 24, 2017, will test back-in, angled parking on the south side of Bannatyne Avenue between Rorie Street and Waterfront Drive for approximately eight months.

For the duration of the pilot, this section of Bannatyne Avenue will be adjusted from a two-way street to a one-way street in the westbound direction. By changing the existing parallel parking spots to angled parking, the overall parking capacity in this section of Bannatyne Avenue will be increased by 10 stalls.

During the pilot project, we will be asking for your feedback to find out what those who live, work, and travel through the area think about the changes to this section of Bannatyne Street. The City wants to know how you experience the new back-in, angled parking. This survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. We will be collecting feedback through this survey until September 24, 2017.
