CalWORKs Child Care Consolidation: Parent Focus Group Application

Thank you for your interest in our parent focus group! If you are chosen, your participation will be a valuable step in creating a new, consolidated CalWORKs Child Care program.

If you are selected:

In June, you’ll join a 60-minute online focus group with six other parents to talk about your experiences.

You’ll be eligible to earn $125 for your time.

Workgroup Goal

Right now, California has a three-stage CalWORKs Child Care program. In this focus group, we’ll ask about your experience and what you think we should change about this program.

The state will collect your feedback to help shape a new, consolidated CalWORKs Child Care program. We are also collecting ideas from child care providers and child care program administrators.

Parent Focus Groups

The CDSS will host four online parent focus groups, each with seven parents. We want to include parents who are:

From different parts of the State.
Who have been in the program for different lengths of time
