Marijuana Business Daily, the oldest and most trusted producer of national trade shows and financial data for America's $4.5 billion, legal, cannabis industry is seeking a Customer Service Representative with 2 to 3 years of customer communication experience. Candidates must be willing to work out of our Denver offices.  This is a full time salaried position. 

Tasks: 
  • Respond to telephone inquiries regarding the MJBizCon events which occur throughout the year and include pricing, agenda, exhibiting and hotel inquiries. Respond to the inquiries or forward to the proper division as needed.
  • Assist with registration online, including payment processing and registration level changes.
  • Provide support with Welcome Kit processing for new attendees, business resource book processing and general customer inquiries. 
  • Other tasks as needed relating to customer service needs, data updates, and internal licensee directory support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with any event management software
  • Experience with eCommerce software such as Authorize.net or similar
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills via both verbal and written communication

Requirements: 

Reliable transportation to and from our Denver office for all days of employment.

To qualify, you should be detail oriented and service-minded. You should be friendly, yet highly professional, on the phone, in person and via email. Your emails should not contain abbreviations or typos. You must be equally comfortable assisting customers in traditional corporate America as well as legal cannabis entrepreneurs. We would prefer someone with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
