Know someone who would make a great ASHT board member? In an effort to increase member engagement and expand the election candidate pool, ASHT members have the opportunity to nominate other engaged and qualified members for board service.
The period for these nominations is open now through February 16, 2026 (prior to the standard self-nomination period).
Those nominated by others will then be contacted and given the opportunity to accept or decline the nomination, then submit a complete nomination packet by the nominations deadline of
March 24, 2026.
Please ensure anyone nominated meets the criteria outlined on the Board Elections page, paying specific attention to membership and prior board experience requirements.
All of the nominees for Vice President shall have served as an elected officer or appointed division director. The Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer-Elect must have been Active members of ASHT for at least three consecutive years prior to the election in question (includes election year). Board Members-at-Large candidates must have been Active or Associate members of ASHT for at least three consecutive years prior to the election in question (includes election year).
