New Central Library & Public Plaza - Feedback on Accessibility

The City of Burbank is exploring ideas for a potential new Central Library and Public Plaza and is seeking feedback from community members about accessibility.
This proposed project has the potential to create a more inclusive, welcoming, and accessible library and public space that better supports how people move through, use, and experience the building and surrounding plaza. Your input will help the City understand what accessibility features, accommodations, and design considerations are most important in the library and in outdoor public spaces.
We invite you to share your experiences with the current Central Library and your ideas for how a future library could be easier to navigate, more comfortable to use, and more supportive of a wide range of abilities. Your feedback will help inform the early planning and design process as the City continues to explore this potential project.
1.What accessibility features would make the new Library welcoming and easier to use?
2.Are there any challenges or obstacles that affect your use of the Library now?
3.What services, resources, or infrastructure would improve access and inclusion for people with disabilities in the City of Burbank?
4.What types of programs would you like to attend at the Library, and what accommodations or supports would help make them more accessible to you?
5.When have you had a good experience with customer service when receiving an accommodation?
