Welcome to the Creative Manufacturing Survey

Bridgeway Capital’s Creative Business Accelerator is working in partnership with the Land of Sky Regional Council and stakeholders across Western North Carolina to develop a Creative Manufacturing Sector Development Plan for the region. The goal of this plan is to provide recommendations for WNC’s regional planners and stakeholders to invest and support businesses like yours.
For the purpose of this project, we have defined "creative manufacturing" as:
Creative manufacturers use traditional handwork processes and industrial production technologies to transform raw and/or reclaimed materials into finished goods with utility, durability, and distinctive design.  Finished goods from creative manufacturers are wide-ranging and include, but are not limited to, furniture, hardware, decor, textiles, wall coverings, apparel, hollowware, home goods, lighting, musical instruments, beautycare, etc.

As a part of this process, we have designed a survey (below) to better understand the opportunities and challenges faced by creative entrepreneurs in the region and to get your thoughts on how to move Western North Carolina’s creative economy forward. Your input is critical to developing a meaningful and actionable plan, and we hope that you will take 10 minutes of your time to answer the questions below. 
**Please note - the information you provide is completely confidential and will only be used for the purpose of providing recommendations for the Creative Manufacturing Sector Development Plan.  
 
Once we have collected the survey data, we are happy to share statistics about your businesses’ growth stage and other metrics in comparison to others in your region. We will also personally invite you to Regional Round Table Conversations and other opportunities to share your thoughts and experiences.
