LISST Organization Feedback

Thank you for taking the time to complete this short evaluation of your experience. The Leading Indigenous Service Sector Training was made possible by one-time funding from the provincial government to support skills development, recruitment, and retention across the community social services sector for the years 2020-22.

This funding commitment came about following many years of concentrated advocacy work that established the tremendous impact the sector has on the social and economic fabric of B.C. despite chronic and ongoing underfunding that threatens our organizations’ sustainability even as complex social challenges intensify in our communities.

By completing this evaluation, you are providing data that will demonstrate to the government the importance of renewing this funding, and help our sector make a strong case for continuing to receive financial support for training in the years to come for our organizations’ staff, volunteers, and social-care providers in the community.
