ODxOS Corporate Interest Form |
The Atlanta University Center (AUC) Data Science Initiative’s OPEN DOORS x OPEN SOURCE (ODxOS) program seeks corporate collaborators to participate in the design, instruction, advisement, development, and recruitment of the 2021 cohort. Participating partners will benefit by having early access to interview participants in the program. Corporate partners may engage in the following ways:
- Project Mentorship - Mentors can guide a team of 4-5 participants through an open-source coding project over a span of eight weeks
- Guest Lecture - Industry professionals can give lectures on technical topics in the area of software engineering and software development
- Presentations and Workshops - Topics may be tied to interviewing, resume development, social media profiles, emerging technologies, and other topics related to race/gender in tech
- Recruitment - Companies will have an opportunity to recruit participants of the program in August and September
- Other opportunities to enhance the program
