* 2. Music Therapy is a Waiver service designed to improve self-image and body awareness, fine and gross motor skills, and auditory perception through the use of music. Music therapy is designed to increase communication skills, ability to use energy purposefully, interaction with peers and others, ability to focus on tasks, and increase independence and self-direction. Would you/your family member be interested in this service?

* 4. Recreation Therapy is a Waiver service designed to restore or rehabilitate an individual to previous ability to complete daily functions and independence and/or reduce the effects of the individual’s disability. Recreation Therapy is implemented through the use of adapted sports, dramatics, arts and crafts, social activities, and other recreation activities. Would you/your family be interested in this service?

* 6. Mini Dreamers is a day camp for children, ages 5 and up, that is currently limited to participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This program is offered during school breaks and provides cooking activities, community field trips, games, socializing, education, and crafts. If this program were open to siblings of children who already qualify, would you be interested in having your child(ren) attend?

We are considering offering an inclusive afterschool program for children ages 5-21.  For all participants, we would incorporate social and independent living skills development.  Ages 14-22, would also incorporate employment readiness curriculum.  Would your loved one be intetested in this program?
