Residual herbicide information
Thank you for participating in our survey regarding residual based herbicides during the 2023 cropping season in and around the Wentworth Region. This information will be used to assist with data collection as part of GRDC Funded project: NGN Summer Fallow Weed Management.
For reference, residual herbicide is defined as:
* A herbicide(s) that have a long lasting activity in the soil. These herbicides are often applied directly to the soil prior to planting crops, pre-emergent. Residual herbicides rely on moisture and microbial activity to break down. (DPIRD WA)
Examples of product names could be: Overwatch; Reflex; IMI's; Callisto; Group B products and others.
Mode of action group numbers may include: 13; 14; 2; 27 and others.
