Thank you for your interest in the Cascade Bridge Replacement project. This short survey (about 5 minutes) has been launched in conjunction with Public Meeting #2 held on July 15, 2026, and covers a few remaining decisions where we'd like your input; including the bridge's gateway/entrance features, aesthetics, landscaping, and historic interpretive signage.

As background: the large majority of the project budget goes toward the bridge structure itself; these questions are about the smaller share available for aesthetic and placemaking elements.

6. To mitigate the loss of the existing structure, the City is required to provide an historical record of the bridge. To accomplish this, the City is preparing an online documentary, and will be placing historical signage near the new bridge location.

Please provide your feedback on the content of the signage. Should it focus only on the bridge's history, or include history of other items such as the ravine, parks system, or even the broader history of Burlington?
