Abstract

Increase awareness and literacy around leading practices related to “real-world” use cases of cadastral mapping with other spatial datasets in this two (2) hour panel-facilitated workshop. Topics will include a review of parcel data fundamentals (including an overview of ParcelMap BC features and benefits), historic and contemporary patterns around data access and effective data use, and challenges and opportunities represented by emerging trends around parcel data access and integration with other data. A moderator-led discussion will follow where attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a panel of industry experts to discuss challenges and opportunities associated with their own use cases of ParcelMap BC with other data sources.

Organized by the ParcelMap BC Adoption Working Group, this event is co-facilitated by the Land Title and Survey Authority (LTSA) and Integrated Cadastral Information (ICI) Society.
