Why are we asking for this feedback?
We’re conducting this survey to gather community input on the City Commission’s meeting schedule. According to the Open Meetings Act, the City Commission must finalize and publish the meeting calendar for the upcoming year by their first meeting in January.
Currently, the Commission meets twice a month: the 2nd Tuesday at 7:00 PM and the 4th Tuesday at 12:00 PM. These times were originally chosen to accommodate a variety of schedules, balancing evening and midday options.
As we prepare the 2025 calendar, we’d like to hear from you! Do these times work well for your schedule? Would alternative times improve accessibility and participation?
